Mansoura University recently awarded international ISO 9001 quality certificates to its faculties during the “Mansoura University Institutional Excellence Awards – Third Session 2025,” held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Main Conference Hall of the Administration Building, under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, with the participation of the university’s and faculties’ leadership teams.

Professor Dr. Mohamed Ali Shata, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, received the faculty’s international quality certificate in the presence of Professor Dr. Metwally Abu Sarea, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Walid Nassar, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Professor Dr. Heba Abdel Salam, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Professor Dr. Rania El-Gamal, Director of the Excellence Unit at the faculty, and Mr. Medhat Ismail, Faculty Secretary, along with a number of members from the faculty’s Excellence and ISO teams.

The Faculty of Agriculture’s receipt of the ISO certification is part of Mansoura University’s comprehensive plan to qualify its faculties, following the university’s acquisition of the ISO 9001 international quality certificate. This initiative, guided directly by the university president, aims to accredit all faculties according to international standards, strengthening the institutional quality and governance system and enhancing administrative and academic performance.

The university administration emphasized that obtaining ISO certificates is not the end goal but rather the beginning of a new phase of commitment to implementing quality standards and continuously monitoring procedures within faculties, ensuring sustainable development and improving the quality of educational, research, and community services.
