Mansoura University Launches “Scouting Towards Digitalization” Festival with Participation of Faculty of Agriculture Scouts

Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, inaugurated the 45th University Scouting and 33rd Guiding Festival under the theme “Scouting Towards Digitalization”. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Atiya El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, along with several university leaders. The festival witnessed the participation of 14 faculties and began with a parade, the national anthem, and a morning radio program, in addition to various scouting and digital activities.

The Faculty of Agriculture participated with a delegation of scouts, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Shatta, Dean of the Faculty, who visited to follow up on the faculty’s participation and encourage the students during the festival. The faculty delegation took part in the morning visit, flag salute, radio program, wall magazine, technological skills activities, judging competitions, evaluation of scouting grounds, and both scouting and guiding evening events, in addition to completing the construction of scouting grounds.

The festival also included honoring several scouting leaders and alumni of the university in recognition of their contributions and support for scouting activities
