2^nd International Conference on the Arab Impact Factor, in the period from 6-9 May, 2017 Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain.

The Conference will discuss issues and challenges surrounding scientific publishing in the Arab world with specific focus on indexing and ranking of journals as well as the difficulties faced by Arab researchers to publish in globally recognized journals. It becomes incumbent upon all universities and research institutions in the Arab World to not remain complacent to developing and improving the scientific publishing domestically and internationally and identifying ways to overcome obstacles and developing appropriate solutions.

The Conference will also discuss the assessment of the scientific publishing in Arab World and will demonstrate the global key performance indicators in this respect. This will act as a guide to the development of the Arabic journals, enhancing the quality of their publications and, finally, qualifying them to be indexed in the international databases.
