Department of Food Industries

Food Science Department was one of the four main starting Departments in the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura Univeristy in 1973 which became now 19 departments.
The Department startarted with two main branches ; Food Industries and Dairy Science which are now two separate Departments.

In the Department, there are 15 staff members covering all the sceintific fields of food science, nutrition ,and food industries in addition to 4 Demonstrators ( uptill January 2000).

The study in Food Industries Department qualifies the students to work as food industries engineers to fulfill the requirement of these industries both in Egypt and in Arab area.

The Department grants the following degrees:

  • Agricultural Science Bachelore Degree in Food Industries.
  • Master Degree in Food Industries .
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Food Industries.
  • Diploma in Food Quality Control.
