The Journal of Agricultural Science, Mansoura University is published monthly by the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, Egypt.

The Journal is open to all researches in agriculture science and related subjects. Subscription, Manuscripts and all editorial correspondence should be addressed mail to the Editorial-in-Chief.

The Computer Lab of Faculty of Agriculture is working for a long time in entering the abstracts of papers previously published in the journal.

The abstracts are entered in the database of the University and one could search for abstracts by logging in the home page of Mansoura University and click on Search Libraries then give the required keywords where the abstracts and information's about the papers are given. This search could be made both in Arabic or English modes.

Instructions to authors

• Issues :: Publication of the Journal of Agriculture, Mansoura University is under the supervision of an Editorial Board appointed by the Faculty Council Head and Editor-in- Chief.
• Publication costs :: Article must be original reports on basic or applied research not previously or simultaneously published in any other refereed periodical scientific or technical Journal. Papers Submitted for publication are forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief, according to the system outlined below. The Editorial Board refers the papers to specialized reviewers chosen for recognized competence in their fields. The Editorial Board bases its decision for acceptance, revision or rejection of the paper upon advice from at least two reviewers, whose identities are not disclosed to the authors . Suggestions and criticism of the reviewers are communicated to the authors to revise their papers accordingly . Reviewing costs are 50.0 L.E. for each paper for Egyptians and 50 US $ for non-Egyptians.

Editing system

• On Receiving :: The paper must be submitted in three copies, written using a computer Win Word 7 (double space between lines, A4 paper Size).
• After Acceptance ::For publishing, the paper must be submitted in the final form , as follow :
  • Written using a computer , using Microsoft Word (Win Word 7 or above ).
  • A4 paper size written area 12.5 x 18.0 cm.
  • Full Justification , single spacing between lines.
  • Arial fonts, size 10 normal throughout the paper except :
  • Main title ( size12 Bold).
  • Author's names ( size11 Bold).
  • Author's address ( size10 Bold).
  • Abstract ( size 9 normal Bold ).
  • Arabic Summary ( size 10, Arabic transparent) ,paper title (size 13, Arabic Transparent Bold ) ,Author's name (size 12 Bold ) and Author's Address (size 11 Bold).
  • For Non-Egyptians the Arabic Summary can be made by the Journal Editorials.

Note : Key words must be included at the end of the abstract .
