Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers New Criteria

- Nomination is open for all researchers, regardless of age.
- Award name changed to become; Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers.
- The Award categorized all scientific specializations in six main fields instead of twelve. The Award is granted annually, on one or more specializations in each field.

The Award is granted annually in six scientific fields as specified by the Award Scientific Committee, in addition to specifying competition topics in each field.

1. Medical and Health Sciences
2. Engineering Sciences
3. Basic Sciences
4. Literature and Human, Social and Administrative Sciences
5. Agricultural Sciences
6. Applied Sciences including Water, Energy, and Environment

The deadline for acceptance of the applications is the end of the month of April 2016.
