AGFUND announces beginning of nomination period for its international prize 2015
The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) announced the start of nomination period for AGFUND International Prize for Pioneering Human Development Projects. The theme is “Alleviation of unemployment among youth”. AGFUND invited the UN, international and regional organizations, ministries and public institutions, NGOs, universities and research centers around the world to submit their nominations for the Prize, which worth US$ 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousands American) allocated for the four categories of the Prize. Selection of this subject for the Prize, AGFUND aims to pinpoint distinguished development experiences in the field of youth empowerment though creation of income resources, improvement of their livelihoods and participation in development of their communities.
