Excellence Award for Student Innovation in Agriculture / Aquaculture
The 2016 AgraME │AquaME Awards is officially endorsed and judged by the Ministry of Environment and Water. The aim is to motivate and encourage students involved in the agriculture & aquaculture to showcase their achievements.
This Excellence award for student innovation in Agriculture / Aquaculture is given to recognise the individual student or group of students for the submission of a product or research project that has demonstrated innovative, sustainable thinking and will have an impact on the Agra/Aqua industry.
To ensure all participants have equal chances in their preparation of proposals the following eligibility criteria will apply:
- The student(s) must be currently enrolled in an Institution for Higher Education located in the Middle East region.
- The student's age should not exceed 25 years at the time of application.
- PhD students are excluded from participation.
A separate award will be presented for both categories.
Key Judging Criteria:
- Demonstrated innovative.
- Sustainable thinking and an impact on the Agra/Aqua industry.
The Excellence Award for Student Innovation in Agriculture / Aquaculture, invites students project within the Middle East region. This includes; Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, UAE and Yemen.
If any of your students would be interested in presenting a project they are required to complete the submission form along with the supporting documents and should reach before 5pm (GST) Monday 1st February 2016. (No extension will be provided)
