Faculty of Agriculture signs an agreement with the Dr. Nutrition to recruit graduates of «Dietetic programme»
Dr. Nazem Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture signed a protocol of cooperation with the Center for Dr. Nutrition in the United Arab Emirates, to prioritize the recruitment of graduates of the Dietetic programme at the Center and its branches.
Dr. Nutrition is one of the largest nutrition centers in the Middle East, It has nearly 100 branches around the world.
Dr. Osama Ahmed Al Sayad, Director of Products at the Dr. Nutrition Center, said that the priority of their employment of a nutrition specialist will be for graduates of the Dietetic programme at the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University. This will be done through individual interviews of graduates of the program on the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture.
Dr. Samir Darwish, assistant professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and the executive director of the program, stressed the importance of activating the agreement between the faculty and the center of Dr. Nutrition to benefit from the expertise and transfer of knowledge from abroad to the country for sustainable technological and economic development.
Dr. Darwish pointed out that the message of the "Dietetic programme" is committed to prepare dietitians, who are capable of providing excellent service to meet the real needs of both national and regional markets. This is through learning based on problem solving, development of self learning skills and scientific research for community service and environment development.
