INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ‘CLIMATE SMART AGRICULTURE’
MNS-University of Agriculture Multan is going to organize an International Conference ‘Climate Smart Agriculture: The way of farming for 21st Century’ on October 08-09, 2018 at MNS- University of Agriculture Multan-Punjab, Pakistan.
Conference has been designed in collaboration with Hochschule Geisenhelm University, Germany under the framework of DAAD funded project to mitigate climate change for food security. The International Conference will provide insight into: highlighting the climate smart agriculture emerging science and innovation practices, providing resilience to farming system against negative impact of climate change; an assessment of scientific knowledge and capacity to adopt climate smart agriculture; opportunities and options for the success of climate smart agriculture (CSA) under current scenarios within the context of Paris Agreement on climate change; to provide inspiring environment with the purpose to produce innovative ideas and grounds for implementation of CSA in Pakistan; enable networking and provide opportunities for collaborations and alliances on climate smart agriculture; stimulate and facilitate discussions and dialogues between stakeholders including scientists-researchers and practitioners including policy makers, business, civil society and farmers.
Abstracts and posters submission date has been extended to August 5, 2018.
