MUIRO announces ​Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions () under Horizon 2020 Programme for the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE).

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is a bottom up research funding (all research areas - no thematic calls or predefined priorities) and it promotes mobility & exchange of researchers & staff. RISE Scheme promotes international and inter-sectoral collaboration through staff exchanges, sharing of knowledge and ideas from research to market (and vice-versa) for the advancement of science and the development of innovation.

A RISE proposal should include activities for the development of joint research and innovation ​and/or networking activities, organisation of workshops and conferences to facilitate sharing of knowledge, new skills acquisition and career development for research and innovation staff members. The activities could be focused on one dimension of mobility (International or inter-sectoral) or a combination of both. The R&I tasks/deliverables must be implemented through secondments of staff members with an in-built return mechanism to foster knowledge sharing and long-term collaboration.

RISE consortium must be composed of at least 3 independent organisations from 3 different countries. At least 2 of them should be from an EU Member States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC).
