3rd International Forum on Agri-Food Logistics

The Department of Law and Enterprise Management in Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the Poznan University of Life Sciences in Poland, invite to the 3rd International Forum on Agri-Food Logistics "Towards the Sustainability of Logistics in the Agri-Food Supply Chains"

The Scientific-Business Forum has been scheduled for June 26-28, 2019 in Poznan, Poland. The Forum will also include IV National Scientific Conference AGROLOGISTYKA.

Forum on Agri-Food Logistics is a platform for the exchange of views between the scientist and business and first of all strives to bring both this environments closer together in order to develop a common model of knowledge and experience transfer on the national and international level.

The major Topics:

  • Sustainable agri-food supply chains - goals and principles of functioning
  • Methods of measuring and assessing the sustainability of logistics in the AFSCs
  • Traceability in the AFSCs
  • Technique and technology in terms of food safety (Intelligent packaging, transport equipment, warehouses, etc.)
  • Development of systems and quality standards in agri-food logistics
  • Development of information systems supporting management and security in the AFSCs
  • Risk management in the AFSCs - regional and global approach
  • Development of the CSR and LSR concepts for the AFSCs
  • Agricultural Externalities and their consequences or AFSCs

The Forum assumes examining the proposed subject in various aspects (eg legal, economic, technological, social issues, etc.). This interdisciplinary approach will allow the conference issues to be captured in an interesting way for both researchers and practitioners. In order to the diagnosis of the so-called good practices in the analyzed scope and the possible broadest presentation of them to both business and science representatives - as well as institutions of the institutional environment - the Forum includes plenary, thematic and poster sessions, and additional thematic session during the study visit to one of the leading companies of Agri-Food sector in Wielkopolska Region and in Poland.
