The establishment of the Center

• The Extension Services and Agricultural Consultancy Center was established by the decision of the University Board to work as a special unit in April 30, 1990.
• Its internal regulation was approved and its 1st management committee was appointed in June 02, 1990.

Center Mission

In the mission framework of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, the Extension Services and Agricultural Consultancy Center seeks to establish positive relations between the Faculty and the community to transfer the results of applied researches to the beneficiaries.

To create an active link between the faculty researchers and the community problems and needs.

Objectives of the Centre

• Directing faculty agricultural research for serving agricultural production and producers.
• Simplify the results of scientific researches in all areas of agricultural production to make the producers familiar with these results.
• Providing extension and consulting services to individuals and organizations at the university and the surrounding community.
• Preparation of training manuals and educational materials (i.e., pamphlets, brochures, posters and films, etc).
• Conducting researches, investigations, and research projects (Agricultural Experience House).
• Organizing and holding programs and specialized training courses in agricultural production fields.
