Prof. Mohammed Kenawy President of Mansoura University, honored the research team at the Faculty of Agriculture to get a patent by the Patent Office of Academy of scientific research and technology for the production of "fertilizer nitrogen double metal packaging", which presented by the office of intellectual property and patent invention in Mansoura University.

The team includes Dr. Ayman M. Ghamri and Dr. Ahmad Abu-Ata Mousa, Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Mahmoud al-Najjar Researcher in Talkha fertilizer company.

The new invention will solve the problem of the speed of absorption of urea fertilizer in the soil and not the plant benefit from the compost maximum benefit.

The research team confirmed that the applied significance of this modern compost is to raise the efficiency of use by 90% compared to regular fertilizer urea, which does not exceed 50% efficiency, which loses most of the component, with irrigation water, leading to contamination of the ecological system.

The results showed through the electron microscope that the decay rate and rate of nitrate and ammonium dropped dramatically in modern fertilizer urea as a result of the effect of the outer layer of packaging and new field trials showed a significant impact in the field of efficiency and quality indicators for the various agricultural crops.

As for the fertilizer, the efficiency of high use is in reducing losses, which enables the farmer to add compost once, which reduces operating costs, labor and thus increase economic returns and reduce agricultural production costs and on the other hand, the efficiency of the high fertilizer enables plants to absorb nitrogen in the long term and thus At least the accumulation of nitrate free within the plant and rising crop efficiency.
