On 27 March 2017, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Kenawy, President of Mansoura University, inaugurated the new sales center of the Faculty of Agriculture, next to the Faculty of Arts, in the presence of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Vice-President of Mansoura University for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Zaki Zidan, Vice-President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Affairs and Prof. Dr. Yasser El-Hadidi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. The inauguration was also attended by Faculty of Agriculture’s senior administrative personnel.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Kenawy opened the activities of the first food day organized by the Faculty of Agriculture titled “Eat Right on student budget” under the supervision of Dr. Zahraa Motawa. Dr. Zahraa pointed out that the day aims to introduce students to health food and its components and to choose healthy food rich in vegetables and fruits instead of unhealthy fast food. On the sidelines of the day, a competition was organized to prepare the best meal to encourage students to participate and apply the day’s theme.
