Scientific seminar organized by the faculty of agriculture, to discuss the results of the research project "Production of fruits of grape and citrus free from pesticides" funded by the Research Unit of the Mansoura University, Main researcher Dr. Abdul Aal Hijazi, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sweilem vice-president of Higher Studies and Research, Dr. Yasser El Hadidi dean of the faculty of agriculture, Dr. Yasser Shabana vice-dean of Higher Studies, and members of the research team.

Dr. Sweilem pointed that the university played an important role beside the educational process, research and community service, it is necessary to universities and educational institutions and research centers to be linked to the community, explaining that the time has come to give the universities the utmost importance for the recruiting of results of scientific research and to achieve sustainable development.
