The establishment of the unit

The unit was established by the decision of the University Board No. 243 in April 30, 1995.

Unit Mission

In the mission framework of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, the Micro-analyses units seeks to improve scientific research in the field of chemical analysis through training students on modern technologies and scientific instruments. Also, contributes in serving post-graduate studies, surrounding community and developing the environment.

Objectives of the Unit

• Providing micro-analyses of various materials to researchers from inside and outside the university.
• Conducting scientific researches (both theoretical and applied) by researchers from inside and outside the university to serve the environment and to resolve its problems.
• Training and educating research students from inside and outside the university on the use of modern scientific and technical methodology.
• Assisting the productive activities by using scientific methods that lead to the development and creation of innovative methods, which consequently result in an abundance and improvement in the production.
• Contribute in training the community members on the use of scientific and technical methods, and educate them to raise their productive efficiency in their respective fields.
• Accomplishing all the work assigned to the unit in its field of specification from the university and other bodies of interests.
