A seminar entitled "National Projects in the Field of Water and their Role in Bridging the Water and Food Gap" was held at the Faculty of Agriculture on Sunday, 11/26/2023, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Shata, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Saleh Saada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Metwally Abu Saree, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The symposium dealt with the axes and national projects implemented by the Egyptian state to maintain its water balance, especially the project of the future of Egypt and the new delta and their positive effects on the future of Egyptian agricultural wealth, water resources and desalination projects, building and developing water infrastructure, including dams, stations and canals, improving water management and developing irrigation and sewage systems, developing new technologies for desalination and storage, and the importance of exerting more efforts to spread the culture of rationalizing water use and preserving them.
