The Faculty of Agriculture hosted a roundtable titled "Small and Medium Enterprises: The Foundation of Nations' Progress" organized by the Agricultural Economics Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, on Saturday and Sunday, November 16-17, 2024, as part of the activities of the "Beginning" initiative.

The roundtable discussion focused on the nature of small, medium, and micro-enterprises, as well as the services provided to these projects by various entities, through the following sub-objectives:

• Understanding the nature of small, medium, and micro-enterprises.
• Financial services provided by the Enterprise Development Agency for these projects.
• Non-financial services offered by the Enterprise Development Agency for these projects.
• The role of the Chamber of Commerce in supporting small, medium, and micro-enterprises.
• Special initiatives by the Central Bank to support small, medium, and micro-enterprises.
• The role of the Dakahlia Labor Directorate in training and qualifying these projects.
