Today, on Thursday 16/2/2023, the events of “Made by Our Hands” Initiative at Nile Club were concluded. The initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Yousef Khater-President of the University, and Prof. Mahmuod Mohamed ElMeligy- Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Besides, it was organized by the General Administration of the Environmental Projects in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, The Faculty of Science, and AlMahrousa Students Team.

The initiative aims to confronting global inflation in the prices of food products. Besides, it targets the training of faculty members, workers and students on the manufacture of dairy products, roofs and hydroponics, the manufacture of aromatic candles, raising and caring for poultry at home, and the technology of making food at home.

Prof. Mohamad Shata-Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Mostafa Ameen –General Director of the General Administration for Environmental projects honored the attendees of the faculty members as follows:

This initiative targeted the Faculty members, administrative staff, students and assistant services staff. The attendees showed a great interaction with the speakers thanks to the importance of the content. Besides, they expressed their desire to be trained practically to make food at home to save money and to stay healthy.
