on Monday 27th March 2023, Mansoura University honored the winning faculties and teams with Egypt Government Excellence awards of the Ministry of Planning (Third Edition 2022) during “Mansoura University’s Celebration of Government Excellence Awards”.

The attendees were: Prof. Cherif Yousef Khater- President of Mansoura University, Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset- Former President of Mansoura University, Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed ElMeligy- Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Attia AlBayoumy- Vice-President of the University for Education and Student’s Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Tarek Hafez- Vice-President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, deans of the faculties, Mr/ Mohamed Abdullatif- General Trustee of the University, vice-deans of the Faculties, heads of teams of government excellence awards, and coordinators of the faculties.

During the ceremony, the Faculty of Engineering that won the first place in government institution award, category of faculties on the level of the Republic was honored.

There were five faculties that were honored as the best faculties among the faculties of the Republic’s Universities as follows: (Engineering- Medicine- Dentistry- Veterinary Medicine- Law).

There were two teamwork that were honored: the teamwork of professional development at the Faculty of Commerce, and the teamwork of country development of ‘Good Life’ Project for winning the best 10 teams on the level of the Republic. Besides, the category of ‘equal opportunity and women’s empowerment’, these teams were honored among the best 10 teams on the level of the Republic.

The teamwork of the following participant faculties in the competition were honored: (Education- Pharmacy- Commerce- Agriculture- Arts- Nursing- Physical Education-Computers and Information- Specific Education- Tourism and Hotels- Early Childhood Education- Fine Arts).

The teamwork of the General Administration of Organization and Administration were honored as well as the teamwork of competition application, teamwork of University’s assessment, teamwork of equal opportunity, and coordinators of the faculties of the third edition of Egypt Government Excellence Award.
