The scientific committee of the annual Dr. Mohamed Rabie Nasser Award for Scientific Research, which aims since its inception to recognize and encourage the efforts of outstanding researchers in providing innovative solutions to societal problems and advancing the community, celebrated the winners of the award in its seventh edition for the year 2024.

The award in the field of agriculture and food security was won by Professor Dr. Yasser Mohamed Nour El-Din Shabana, Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University.
