The fifth training course on the application of scanning and transmission electron microscopy in the field of biology was held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University during the period from 28 to 29 March 2017, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Kenawy, President, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Swailam, Vice President for post-graduate studies and research, of Mansoura University.

The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sweilam, Vice President for post-graduate studies and research; Prof. Yasser El-Hadidi, Dean of the College and Prof. Dr. Yasser Shabana, Director of the Electron Microscopy Unit, and the Vice Dean for Post-graduate Studies and Research and the Course Organizer. Dr. Yasser Shabana reported that the course was attended by biology researchers from the universities of Fayoum, Ain Shams, Damietta and Mansoura. Training was achieved by experts in the field of Electron Microscopy from Mansoura and Damietta universities.
