He is a faculty member selected by the sub-committee for program management to guide the student and help him to solve the problems that may arise during the study and have an advisory opinion.
Academic Advisor objectives
- Providing the necessary support to the student during his academic career in order to achieve the flow of the study plan and end the requirements of the study plan for the program enrolled the student within the prescribed time period.
- Supervising and following up the application of academic guidance procedures and instructions in the college.
- Recognizing the importance of guidance and its role in providing the academic university climate and explaining the study plan and its vocabulary.
- Providing career guidance to the student during and after their educational career to achieve job creation suitable for his specialty and social and financial situation.
- Providing financial support, if possible, and non-material support to students during their educational career at the college.
The duties of the academic guide are:
- Each academic advisor supervises a group of students.
- Help the student achieve the required skills and targeted educational outputs in the graduates of each program.
- Providing advice and assistance in finding and resolving the problems and difficulties they face on campus or abroad through its introduction to university traditions and regulations, which directly or indirectly affects their academic
Performance:
- Be a sergeant and supervisor of their selection without requiring them to follow the instructions and instructions they are instructed to suit them and need them and monitor their selection and intervene with assistance and advice when needed without waiting or asking for help from the student.
- Develop a study plan for the student within his means.
- To clarify the progress of the student according to the study plan through a specialized card for each student in which he registers all his data and the results obtained.
- Help the student to overcome any difficulties or problems encountered in the study of courses by strengthening the relationship between him and the faculty members.
